Shad season closed on Thursday, October 1 and will remain so until Monday, November 30.
During this time, there is no fishing for these fish.
Catching, possessing, transporting, or selling shad is strictly prohibited during this time to protect breeding fish.
During regular season, remember the rules: minimum 30cm in size and a bag limit of four daily.
