The Uvongo lagoon and beach have been re-opened following their closure last Friday due to a sewage spill.
Both the lagoon and beach were closed after a sewer pipe burst at the Uvongo bridge.

“Bathers may now make use of the beach, and all lagoons are currently open for public use,” he said.
