THANKS have been extended to everyone who took part in last week’s clean-up at Scottburgh main beach.
The clean-up formed part of an existing initiative by Scottburgh High which has now grown, thanks to the efforts of the Proudly Scottburgh Forum. Fifty bags of trash was collected and disposed of, thanks to the combined efforts of everyone involved. The trash consisted mainly of plastic, glass bottles and cigarette stubs.
The next beach clean-up has been scheduled for September 20. All are invited and welcome to join in.
