Food, Fun and Adventure: Swim or snorkel at Umzumbe beach

Swimmers and water sport enthusiasts can take their pick from the many lovely South Coast beaches.

Umzumbe Beach has retained its Blue Flag Status for the 2022/2023 season.

The internationally recognised Blue Flag programme is an eco-award given to beaches that meet strict standards of excellence in safety, cleanliness, provision of amenities, environmental information and management.

Swim in the ocean or the tidal pools at Umzumbe beach. The tidal pools are perfect for children too and for those who do not want to brave the waves.

Snorkelling is a popular activity in the tidal pools, and bodyboarding and surfing is a great activity for those seeking some ocean fun and adventure! Many surfers enjoy visiting the beach for its quiet appeal and sizable waves
