ORV Regulations

Although people are guaranteed reasonable access to the coastal zone, vehicles have caused damage, degradation of the dunes and vegetation and overall habitat destruction. These regulations prohibit the recreational use of vehicles in the coastal zone. However they also provide procedures for the approval of restricted use of vehicles under specific circumstances and measures for the enforcement of these regulations.
